While attending Purdue University for engineering, Larry also attended Flight
Training Institute at the Gary Airport for aircraft pilot training where he received his
commercial and instrument ratings. Larry started his professional career in 1987 at
Bethlehem Steel, where he spent sixteen years in the engineering department
implementing major capital projects. Larry has been honoured with many awards for
his outstanding accomplishments in project management, implementation and
design. Larry left Bethlehem Steel in 2003 to join Rexam Beverage Can for six years
as the Maintenance Supervisor, then at Superior Engineering for two years. Larry
now retired from Clevelandcliffs as the Senior Engineer. Larry’s vision of excellence in
quality and customer satisfaction has been his driving principle. Larry grew up in
Hammond, and moved to Munster then Valparaiso where he now lives with his wife
Pam.
